Misting System

A misting system is a type of outdoor cooling system that uses a fine mist of water to lower the temperature in an outdoor area. Misting systems typically consist of a high-pressure pump, a water supply, and a network of tubing and nozzles that spray a fine mist of water into the air. The water droplets quickly evaporate, absorbing heat and lowering the temperature in the surrounding area by several degrees.

Misting systems can be used for a variety of outdoor applications, including cooling patios, decks, and outdoor dining areas, as well as for humidifying greenhouses and nurseries. They can also be used in commercial settings, such as outdoor restaurants, amusement parks, and sporting events, to provide relief from hot weather.

There are two main types of misting systems: high-pressure and low-pressure. High-pressure misting systems use a pump to pressurize water to between 800-1200 PSI, which forces the water through small nozzles to create a fine mist. Low-pressure misting systems, on the other hand, use a simple gravity-fed system to generate a less fine mist at a lower pressure, typically between 40-60 PSI.
